- Support the global accounts payable team in the timely processing and posting of incoming invoices, employee expense reports, and credit card statements
- Independent review and posting of business transactions in the area of accounts payable
- Communication with external business partners and cross-functional cooperation with other teams
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Support and further develop the use of spend management software
- Provide support on the month-end closing activity, prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis related to accounts payable and purchase-to-pay process.
- Relevant work experience as an accountant, ideally in a start-up / scale-up environment;
- Basic knowledge of VAT is a plus;
- Knowledge of ERP software, preferably Oracle, as well as experienced handling of MS Office programs, in particular Excel
- Accurate and detail-oriented way of working;
- Business Professional communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch;
- Team player at heart.
