The role
The Systems and Technical Officer is responsible for the provision of technical support services within our Community Spaces department. You will provide specialist system support and data management to the Community Spaces team. Your experience in asset and work order systems will enable you to effectively maintain asset scheduled maintenance data, contributing to ensuring Councils Buildings and Open Space assets provide satisfactory levels of service to its users in the community.
What you'll bring
- TAFE Certificate III or equivalent in Office Administration/Business Services or similar field.
- Proven ability to work effectively, within local government guidelines and or policies & procedures.
- Strong database management skills and knowledge of Councils asset management system.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team to prioritize and perform a variety of tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in the ability to analyze and assess issues to provide appropriate solutions.

Salary: Commencing salary $61,834-$74,200 p.a. plus superannuation (subject to skills and experience).
Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
